Well, I would object that suggesting to upgrade to unstable is not the
first thing that would come to my mind, if somebody asks about solving
a broken dependency... :)

I have been using Debian testing for the best part of the last 15
years, but I have never suggested anybody to try "enjoy life on the
edge", especially if they are not experienced with using dpkg, and
they need their computer for real work. Having to fiddle around for a
couple of hours with unmet dependencies and broken stuff is not fun at
all when you have a real deadline, or your delay in putting the system
up again is costing money... ;)
