I was thinking more along the lines of this set of instructions for a
debootstrap install to hard drive, rather than with live build.

It's like a gentoo install, in that you can do it from a live medium, and
the live medium is just used as a vehicle to install the files in a
chroot. So you can use a Refracta live-CD to install pure Devuan.
