This seems a bit arbitrary: System I manage usually have a root password
set and sudo installed. The root password is for emergency remote
access, sudo is to enable others to run stuff as root without also
logging in as root. I consider the 'traditional' way of managing UNIX(*)
installations, ie, there's on local user named root which ends up being
an indeterminate number of real people, very messy and cumbersome as
it's basically impossible to tell who is actually logged into some
machine.
