Subject: [DNG] Installer 'Firmware' partition
This is another nice touch in the installer, and its a shame that its
insufficiently documented, so I'd like to suggest that some text be
added to an installer window to let users know.

When the installer performs 'detect network hardware' and detects
non-free firmware, it goes the extra mile and gives the user a specific
file name to obtain. What is a shame is that it leaves out:

1] The install media itself came pre-configured with a writable
partition (sdb2) labeled 'Firmware', for uh . . .

2] The installer is 'cool' with the user just pulling out that usb stick
and returning it later.

It's a shame to have a nice feature, and then hide it!

Also, once the installer is already doing the great job of listing a
specific filename for the required firmware, would it hurt to tell the
user how to get it?
