In case you need infrastructure and/or funding for vdev, also feel free to discuss that here or in private: we are gathering resources to face the systemd avalanche and Devuan is keen to share them with upstream projects helping moving towards this mission. Your effort is an alternative to eudev and we certainly value diversity.
