Given how broken and slow e.g. balanc0r was for ages without anybody
complaining, I'm not sure that's an argument.

For many things, you don't need 100% correct rounding, though,
and if you only round a few values during setup (as opposed to
once-per-pixel), speed won't matter. colgate falls in both of these
categories, which is what I mean with broken-and-slow being OK for it.
I'm trying not to be over-perfectionist on these things :-)
