*DARGAH - **Database of the Sufism Heritage.*

*An attempt to map and archive Sufi Pakistan, Spatially and Spiritually,
through the ‘dargahs’ or Shrine landmarks and their cultural heritage that
dot the country. *The religious, literary, music, dance and building
traditions of shrines form a tapestry of culture that has the mystical
theology of Sufism at its core and historical links with the rest of South
Asia, the Muslim world and beyond. The project hopes to link through a
range of media, classic historical and modern texts in many languages, folk
music and dance recordings, local geographic information and interactive
opportunities for dialogue.

PHASE I: Digital Database: creating an online multimedia library
