Subject: Re: [Bricolabs] two month birthday of Occupy Wall Street
In the UK the Guardian gives reasonable updates and has got a map of
occupations in different countries (but has not included some eg Sao Paulo)

A new Occupy London has just set up with an Ideas Bank and a convergence of
the other occupies in the UK set for this weekend. www.guardian.co.uk
and the tone of the newspaper so far has been subtly supportive of the
occupations, giving accounts from bankers, elderly people, tourists,
veterans etc who advocate the actions in the UK...so it's not all bad.
Indeed, the blog today about the neoccupy London has outlined that so far
the UK police have avoided the heavyhanded approaches as seen most recently
in Oakland and New York and let's hope that is the continued strategy.

There is also a proliferation of material being distributed via Facebook,
which is mostly independent media, but there is plenty of footage out there.

Anyone who could get to London in the next couple of weeks i am sure would
be very welcome as the spaces are HUGE and there is scope to make something
really dynamic happen in terms of knowledge sharing, activity and
international solidarity.....
