i'm not sure if this is already a bug, but actually the good old
http://bugs.dyne.org is where things go reported, we use it actively
in development phase and people in charge of squashing bugs refer to
that so the best way to report a bug and have it processed soon or
later is to document it in detail[1] there.
speaking more in general i think this list should become a place for
constructive discussions to move together towards the release of
dyne:bolic 3. it's been a while now that this place was silent, it
doesn't makes much sense to reactivate the ancestral problem of
parallel port printers now for a start :)
in your case, you are struggling with an IBM docking station and they
are known to me to not work, but i might be wrong on that. i'd suggest
trying the printer on a desktop computer first, making sure you have
the proper CUPS definition for its model.
