eheh, since you are there, have also a look at crunchbang
it's a very active blend of debian (now also 6.0) for geeks
(thanks alejo for the suggestion given on the chat)

i'm seeing a lot of interesting developments progressing in the past
years, now for instance i'm also looking at angstrom OS - impressive!

in sicily this gregorian new years eve we've had various talks on the
making of the next dyne:bolic 3 which followed our alpha based on
pure:dyne. making it will mostly consist of porting d:b scripts to
debian and so far many dyne.org hackers have learned debian packaging
to a decent degree: that will let more of us contribute to the *core*
for which previously the development wasn't shared and mostly loaded
on my shoulders.

right now i've almost completed porting the "nesting" mechanism to
debian, at least the foundation of it which is a software called Tomb
http://tomb.dyne.org (backward compatible with encrypted nests!) since
privacy and offline content storage was always one of the main
features of d:b and more than ever today in the age of the cloud
computing rip-off where spying on you is actually a feature.

next is the installation system and then also an apt repository with
our own packages, which will be presented to debian as well - i'm
applying as debian maintainer BTW, any sponsoring is appreciated! :D

so we are basically starting and soon you'll also see a brand new
webpage we have, based on wordpress so it can be updated by more
people. so: editors are also welcome!

and of course ideas on clustering (openmosix isn't an option anymore i
think) and desktop (looks like we are going LXDE) are all welcome!

ciao
