you are correct, there was no information in the manual about packing
a kernel for dyne:bolic. I just took the time to write that down, it
is now in the online manual (html version) at
http://dynebolic.org/manual

the very last section named "Compile a new kernel"

(better not to use direct links to manual pages: for some reason the
docbook system used changes the name of html pages at every
modification).
