Hi,
as I have compared the RME cards, which have a good value for price, I'm comparing lower priced pci-audio-interfaces with prof. level balanced connections and 192 kHz now.
I would like to know your opinions and recommendations to these or other cards (recommendations) to use them with Linux:
ECHO Mia-midi |149,- EUR
ESI Juli@ |129,- EUR
ESI Maya 44 |99,- EUR
E-MU 0404 |98,- EUR
E-MU 1212M |149,- EUR
M-AUDIO Delta 1010LT |197,- EUR
M-AUDIO Delta 44 |155,- EUR
M-AUDIO Delta 66 |185,- EUR
M-AUDIO Delta Audiophile 192 |168,- EUR
TERRATEC Phase 22 |75,- EUR
1. What do you think or (better) know about audio-quality, value for price and linux/alsa-compatibility of these cards ?
2. Are the converters in the Maya 44 and 1212M as good as Juli@'s ?
3. Is it correct that Juli@'s converters are the best in this price range ?
4. Do you know of prof. audio-quality alternatives in this price range that are not listed above ?
greetings
Mac
