I wonder if the term "bus" is apropriate for all of these.

    A bus is something wich runs along a line and serves stations on
its way. Well apropriate for the address/data bus connecting hardware
components of a computer, IMHO not much for USB with its star structure,
nor for Dbus or Hyprtavern. The generic terms of IPC and middleware fit
better, but aren't very attractive.

    Maybe the adoption will be driven by a better name than a better
design.
