I don't care strongly either way, but compare the 'Architectures' list of
https://deb.debian.org/debian/dists/bullseye/Release
with
http://deb.devuan.org/merged/dists/chimaera/Release
and will you see that Debian dropped armel but you still have it in
your, despire that there is no main/binary-armel/Packages list for
Devuan.
If Debian drops something, I would expect Devuan to drop it too, and
that the Architectures: list of Devuan chimaera is modified to not
include armel any more.
These things seems a bit manual even on the Debian side so I'm not sure
it is possible to automate it fully.
