Better yet, if the underlying ext2 filesystem gets corrupted in certain
ways,

which can happen with a simple sudden lack of power while writing,

the journalling thing built on top of it also dies similar to when Windows

ran on top of MS/DOS (well, not quite that bad, but similar).


Funny that every one of the other 30+ filesystems was

happily ported over the API change but not reiserfs.


But I see it's drifted into a "my favourite filesystem" discussion

so I guess that means "you want it? you maintain it."
