I run a headless Chimaera VM with a Pi-hole / unbound setup, so my
DNS needs to be the VMs IP not what my fibre provider decides.
While I can set my DNS in the fibre router, it gets remotely reset.
Probably when a scan reveals I am using a different setting.
And no, I cannot set a PW, it is preset remotely and cannot be
changed.
Not the case when I had a ADSL, but copper lines have been (forcibly)
discontinued so that was it.

some connman file, so that solution does not work.
The idea is to fix this specific problem in a nip-in-the-bud manner.
ie: at its root without having to resort to a work-around by making a
system file immutable, somehow it does not seem right.
That said, I will have to look at [dnscrypt-proxy].
