And still going strong! Honestly written: Back then I have been cautious
and asked myself: will it be more than a brief episode in history?

But you proved it will! And I am part of it since quite a while.

I truly appreciate that we do have some friendly collaboration with Debian
people, especially in init-diversity (not really a good name, but it is
what it is) team that I helped to bring forth.

It can still be an uphill battle, cause the number of volunteers is
limited. And there can be quite a complexity involved. But I am involved
in some good work at the moment, mostly regarding runit support within
Debian and thus Devuan. And I came across a very friendly maintainer in
Debian willing to accept some of my work in case it meets his quality
standards. Just need to get to finally do it still.
