That would be an enormous number of torrents to create and manage if
you are going to mirror the repositories. Currently 'management'
consists of someone creating the torrent, then listing it on
torrent root server and posting it to the Devuan download pages where people copy and add it
to their server.

Currently, bittorrent. as a stand alone protocol. is used to provide
starting "iso's" for installation of Devuan and other Linux
distros.

There are four bittorrent streams for Devuan; jessie(?), beowulf(6),
chimaera(23) and daedalus(57) (Number in brackets is the number of
seeds for each type). Last time I drilled through one, people can drill
down and pull out the various hardware they are after.

ASIRI, for jessie and beowulf, there point versions issued, but recent
versions have only been for the V.0.

I have needed to use bittorrent as a software source on a few
occasions over the years when I was cut off from my normal resources.
For this reason, I'm one of the seeds(?) for the last three versions.
