If the input of a minor user is useful:

For APT, I use HTTPS and maybe HTTP. I would welcome the elimination of
FTP and don't know enough about Rsync in this context to say anything,
so I guess that means a vote for removal of that too. Though I am
otherwise a big Rsync fan in general.

For ISOs, I use the stable releases via the torrents, pretty much
exclusively. I have not run a mirror repository for a long time, so it
is just torrents for me and not Rsync.
