The discussion under subject "dnsmasq init.d inconsistencies" reminded
me of system monitoring in real time.

I've used "tail -f /var/log/syslog" but the frequent long lines
degrade legibility. Either tolerate line wrapping or use a wide
window.

How do others monitor a system?
