I'd recommend the Brave browser instead of Chrome. It will work as well
as Chrome, but respect your privacy much more. I just turn the 'crypto'
features off and then ignore them. The installation instructions here
worked great for me, and as a bonus, it will update to the latest stable
version whenever you run your usual 'apt-get update && apt-get uprade':
