If you want to change font may try to use 'setfont -d font' and doubles
the size of the font. However due to linux 6.1 kernel limitations isn't
possible use a font with width or height > 32 pixel.
https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/574569/using-tty-fonts-taller-than-32-pixels
Four tricks for larger font:
1) nomodeset and no framebuffer=oldschool text resolution
2) adopt uvesafb framebuffer and reduce screen resolution with fbset
3) with framebuffer at start disable/enable framebuffer on the fly (a
bit more tricky)
4) use fbterm as terminal emulator and set larger font
Best:
Linux will allow in the future to set larger font.
