    I have been having 16Gbyte RAM on my EliteBook laptop for 10 years,
with SSD storage and have disabled swap from the beginning. Therefore my
answer to your question is: *zero*. In principle, this should disable
hibernate mode but it seems to me it worked however, maybe creating some
file. Anyway I've stopped using it and have removed the corresponding
panel button. But you probably may create some swap file and use it only
to hibernate.

    Booting takes 25s (including Grub) and shutdown about the same. The
longest part in shutdown is to gently stop Thunderbird because it first
deletes /actually/ the mails tagged as "deleted" on the two Imap
services I have accounts on. Of course I also need to properly close
other applications such as Emacs. For me hibernation is only usefull
when you are too lazzy to do all that cleanup.
