I have for a number of years and versions of Devuan used:

On any distro, it's always been necessary to do half a dozen

"apt-get install xxx" after an "apt-cache search xxx" to browse

offerings, I find.

Despite more than three decades of *nix use, I'm not sure what hibernate

does, or how it could be useful. I either shut down or not. (Maybe more

defensible on 100% off-grid solar power?)

Has Gentoo gone to the dark side? (systemd)
