    Actually you cannot decide the filesystem since you don't create
any. You just copy an image to the USB key. This image is made of a boot
record containing a bootloader, a partition table and ready-made and
stuffed filesystem(s) on the partition(s). Then you only need to trick
your BIOS to boot from the USB key.
