G'day package mirror admins.
Debian changed their keyring, and they removed the apt-transport-https
package, coz HTTPS is now built into apt. Both where two of my test
files for apt-panopticon.
Yesterday I updated to the latest keyring, and switched to
apt-transport-tor for testing. A few mirrors are still failing. This
might be some sort of oddness at their end.
There's a few other odd things in apt-panopticon, it is still marked as
experimental in a banner near the top of the report page. It needs a lot
of work.
I got an email from my ISP telling me about an emergency outage between
"23:00 and 05:00". Then goes on to say "work will be performed during
daylight hours." If they meant between 11 AM and 5 PM, which would make
more sense, then it would be off already. Sooo, I could drop out
suddenly for hours, or that could happen later tonight. So I'm not gonna
be poking deeply at network things today.
Maybe one of you could figure out what's wrong? Especially useful would
be if every one kept an eye on apt-panopticon and fixed up any issues it
reports.
