On a new installation of the Daedalus, in order to start the fluxbox
window manager I must do:
$ startx fluxbox
I set Fluxbox to be default window manager with
# update-alternatives --config x-window-manager
I create a file .xinitrc that has the line exec fluxbox or I create a
file .xsession with the same line. I try exec startflux as well. These
have no effect.
While I can customize fluxbox sucessfully, such as changing workspaces,
it fails to read its startup and keys files
If I run $ startx by itself, I ether get the blue desktop of the
refracta installer or X does not start and I get the error in
Xorg0.log:
[libseat/backend/logind.c:184] Could not stat fd 21919>
seatd_libseat close failed
