Hello,
thanks for that tip, but unfortunately that requires iptables, which I have set on hold, as I am
using nft(ables).
Right now my problem is reduced, that only dns-options is not take over.
When I have the following /etc/network/interfaces file:
-----
>auto eth0
>iface eth0 inet static
> address ww.xx.yy.zz/32
> gateway ww.xx.yy.1
> pointopoint ww.xx.yy.1
> broadcast ww.xx.yy.zz
> dns-nameserver ww.xx.yy.zz
> dns-search mydomain.top
> dns-options trust-ad
-----
and now entering on the commandline:
> ifdown eth0; ifup eth0
the nameserver and the search information is taken over to resolv.conf, but the important piece of
"options trust-ad" is not taken over.
Without this option DNSSEC is broken.
Normally all stancas, starting with "dns-" should be taken over to resolv.conf, however here it
looks like, that something is broken.
Still searching for a solution.
Wolfgang

What Devuan installation?
Daedalus?
With *connman*, yes?
If so, check the Dev1 forum for 'connman' and the web for 'connman' +
'resolv.conf'.
Best,
A.
