I am not sure what you are referring to.

"Has been exploited? no" has not been in my mail text.

I'd answer it as: Who knows?

Bottom line: If you do not need cups-browsed, make sure it is not there.
And if you need it, disable temporarily until you made sure you installed
a version which fixes the issues.

I see no need to base my decision on whether or to what extent it has been
exploited.
