With a dvd/bluray drive, you should have a /dev/sr0 device. If it's
missing, the drive probably wasn't detected. You should be able to mount
it like any other device. You may want to add your user to the cdrom
group for for mounting as user using the gui using udisk (although,
elogind should also set ACLs, which should also do the trick). For
burning them, I haven't done that in a long time, the programs for that
should probably include all the necessary libs and stuff, but maybe
check their recommends just in case if you don't install those by
default.
