Commercially available systems are right bloody expensive and for even the
simple
ones 3 figures is called 'reasonable' - - - garbage - - - its a temperature
sensor, a
humidity sensor, a 0-10V module and a microprocessor and the programming is
rather crude so when I saw the prices I went - - - there must be another
way of doing
this.
I have already endured much hair pulling (my predominantly bald pate is not
so happy
with that) but I finally have an environment where all the tools for
micropython are
available - - both for programing and install although getting the
installation tools
working has been something like a 10 hour dig around and then humble
through
poorly written docs - - - dunno if I have enough noted so that I could
produce better
but maybe I should try!!!
So its programming to get things done and me being properly quite anal of
course
it becomes not simple very very quickly - - - but it is keeping the thinker
working
- - grin!!!!!!!!!!
