Yes, quite impossible. What we have here is a misunderstanding. Anthony
meant that he copies all the stuff to another tree, and *on that tree*
makes hard links to implement incremental backups. So all of Anthony's
hard links reference files on the same partition as the hard links.
By the way, I do that too, except my destination is a USB3 hard drive.
