Indeed. I use Devuan+LXDE(OpenBox WM) on all my machines. For me it is the
best combination: excellent and light desktop manager to have sufficient
"convenience" together with intensive use of the terminal and minimal use of
the mouse, excellent performance thanks to the lightness of the system, wide
availability of packages, no-systemd... and - last but not least - the Devuan
community ;-)

I wouldn't know how good it is their rolling release... But an Artix feature
that seemed notable to me is the good runit support: 172 runit scipts are
available.
