Autor: murzik Data: A: submit Assumpte: [devuan-dev] bug#843: shim-signed: Should not depend on grub2
Package: shim-signed
X-Debbugs-Cc: lorietta2023@???
Version: 1.39+15.7-1
Severity: minor
Dear Maintainer,
The shim-signed package should not depend on grub2, since you don't need
to be using grub2 to use shim. you can simply rename the efi application
to 'grubx64.efi' and shim will load it. Why do I need grub2 on the
system
if I use systemd-boot, refind or even UKI? i think the grub2 dependency
should be replaced with grub2 || systemd-boot || refind ||
systemd-boot-efi reccomendation
