The display server, Xorg, writes a log in ~/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log
The Xsession scripting invoked by startx writes a log in ~/.xsession-errors
Is there's something in those?
You could e.g upload them to
$ curl --upload-file FILE
https://transfer.rrq.au/$(basneame FILE)
