or simple /etc/network/interfaces

# Wifi network interface
allow-hotplug wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
    wpa-conf /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

and /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicant GROUP=netdev

network={
    ssid="home-ssid-name"
    psk="secret-password"
}

The network part is generated by:
wpa_passphrase <ssid> [passphrase]

wpa_passphrase  test provaprova
network={
        ssid="test"
        #psk="provaprova"
        psk=125d96d97798b554315075bc7eb6e7f10632b09010b86e4e7407abc9725ba364
}

or this could all be added to /etc/network/interfaces

allow-hotplug wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
       wpa-ssid test
        wpa-psk 125d96d97798b554315075bc7eb6e7f10632b09010b86e4e7407abc9725ba364
