I installed KDE + Wayland + sddm because I worry that the abandoned
Xorg, and with it XFCE, may one day become unusable. I don't like
Wayland, though.
It needed some tweaking to get the unnecessary animations away, to make
the pannel use the whole screen length, and so on, but it's quiet usable
now.
It doesn't seam very stable, though. The shell sometimes crashes. When
I'm lucky, I still have a terminal open, and can restart plasma-shell.
