Yes, found it very easy. It is useful if you're producing music
and connecting several audio programs together.
This command starts jack on the first soundcard:
jackd -v -d alsa -d hw:0,0 -r 44100
Then to play a file:
ecasound -i test.wav -o jack,system
Because alsa is still underneath you have
to make sure your relevant mixer settings are
unmuted. I use aumix these days, the cli version.
