Do you see ? That entry has been removed by default from the kernel that
I'm using. That's not good,because IP tables are a very important feature
that should be enabled by default.

can you also do :

grep CONFIG_BRIDGE= /boot/config-`uname -r`

thanks. Even this entry is missing here.
