Perhaps somebody can help me with this issue.

I updted to Chimaera and now I have a Mate-Panel-Applet for open windows
which is extremely unconvenient for me.

The former version showed on pointing with the mouse the name of the
file. The actual version shows instead a miniature of the upper half of
the first page of the file - which is the so small, that for old eyes it
is perfectly unreadable and so perfectly useless.

A nuisance, these "improvements".

Any ideas - to how to revert to the former version?
