I'm also seeing this copy-pasting (via the mouse) to rxvt from Emacs,
Firefox and Chromium. Both under Wayland and plain X11.

This does *not* happen when pasting to foot, a pure Wayland terminal
emulator.

Looks like something in X11 changed and triggered this ...
