Hi,
I found another devuan repository of arm files and downloaded a chimaera
image with today's date on it. The same README.txt file I have been
using was there also. It turns out the user name and password are
devuan, devuan. I guess it is obvious now. So, I am logged in now and
the problem is solved. Thanks very much for the help!
