Methinks I would have to have a running system to do what you're
suggesting - - - - and that's the issue - - - I can't get that - - -
except that should be I couldn't get that then I burned my copy
of the devuan daedelus net install iso to a usb stick.
Install is finishing as I'm writing this.
So - - - - it would seem that this is a kernel thing - - - The kernel
install is 5.16 which quite definitely after 13.
Frustrating as I think I would have rather had chimaera so that I
wouldn't have a lot of updates but I can live with this - - - I think.
