Package: inadyn
Version: 1.99.4-1+b1
Severity: serious
Dear Maintainer,
I'm running inadyn on a Devuan Beowulf (~= Debian Buster) system. inadyn
is run as the user 'debian-inadyn', with . inadyn fails to daemonize,
logging the following message:
Failed opening pidfile /run/inadyn/inadyn.pid for writing: Permission denied
And indeed, for some reason, the folder for its pid file, /run/inadyn ,
is owned by root. Since it's not world-writable nor world-executable,
inadyn can't write there.
That shouldn't happen...
