You're not kidding - - - - I don't understand either!

So I looked in /lib/modules/5.10.0-9-amd64/ and voila there are some
directories - - - - aka lists. Looked in all of them and could find NO
nvme or nvme.ko.

Trying it a number of times - - - - - each time a NULL LINE!!!!

Sorry this is not acting the way you think it should but I can only report
what IS happening - - - - - and no joy!
