Perhaps so, but hey, at least we have that idea there IF the time comes.
Would be nice, for sure.
With regard to whether or not its possible, I say, as long as slackware,
voi and gentoo are still alive, there are programs for us to use to make a
debian fork work. The supporting software is there.
