Not at all -- there was a bug in the devuan-lintian-profile!

Can you verify that adding '@include-parent' to

/usr/share/lintian/vendors/devuan/main/data/spelling/corrections
/usr/share/lintian/vendors/devuan/main/data/spelling/corrections-case

makes the spelling checks work correctly?
