Hopefully not considered a thread hijacking - - - but - - - -
apt-cache is being used - - - I'm finding that the apt and its related commands
are poorly described - - - at least I haven't found something like a
cheatsheet thatlists all of the apt-* commands and their uses.
Please - - - does anyone know of such a cheatsheet?
(I find man pages most often terse to the point of not usefulness. I understand
that they are useful for those expert in the area but for one looking
to get things
done with no previous knowledge, well - - - they just aren't that useful.)
TIA
