G'day Adrian,

It's a MacbookPro with the current EFI.

Further digging seems to point to some interaction with pm-utils and pcie power management because the pm-utils suspend is flaky on Chimaera also (more reliable than in-kernel still).

The frustrating thing is with the exact same kernel and exact same pm-utils config and hooks it's reliable on Beowulf.

Two steps forward, one step back.
