Upgrading my main laptop to chimaera succeeded,
following the instructions in
https://git.devuan.org/devuan/documentation/src/branch/master/install-guides/chimaera/upgrade-to-chimaera.md

Only the following glitches:

I once had to use
    apt-get -f install
and re-issue
    apt-get dist-upgrade

That is rightly mentioned in the instructions.

Eventually the second dist-upgrade completed, apparently satisfied.

But after that, just to see it discover it had nothing to do,
I decided to issue another
    apt-get dist-upgrade

But instead of seeing it do nothing, it found another huge set of
packages to upgrade, and proceeded to do that.
It sook several successive dist-uprgades to complete the job.

Perhaps the instructions should say to keep repeating dist-upgrades
until a dist-upgrade reports that it no llonger has any packages to
upgrade?
